The Castle Inn is the highest pub in the Brecon Beacons National Park we are 313m ( over a 1000ft ) above sea level, and it is the third highest pub in Wales. You can walk straight from the door into a world of simply stunning scenery!

 We are situated in the county of Powys, in the Black Mountains, on the Eastern side of the Brecon Beacons National Park. You’ll find us on the A479 between Cwmdu and Talgarth, we are less than 15 minutes drive from Brecon & Hay on Wye. Tucked under Castle Dinas, which was an Iron Age fort, and then a Norman Castle, the Castle Inn is now the place where you can be fed, watered and rested!
