Various starters are available, including the ever-popular garlic mushrooms now topped with Stilton. Jill's steak in ale pie continues to be a major favourite, along with our new chicken & leek pie, and people are really enjoying our steaks (or halloumi cheese) cooked at the table by the chef of the minute (you!) on our hot lava stones, which are heated to 400 degrees!  

We use locally farmed meat, freerange chicken and freerange eggs. Even our bread is baked in Crickhowell (5 mins away),  but sorry to report that our swordfish isn't caught in the stream behind - though we would if we could!

Vegetarian food is popular here and taken seriously in the making. Veggie Chilli and veggie shepherd's pie continue to be very, very popular.

We always have several yummy desserts available too, but most people don't manage a pudding, to be honest!
